When pregnancy comes in, many face two options; keep it or get rid of it. Abortion has become a popular choice in Ghana and elsewhere.

In the United States, one in two women opts for abortion once in her life. It is also believed that each day, there are about 3,000 surgical abortions in the United States.

Why abortion

A student gets pregnant. She wants to continue her school and she also knows her parents will kill her if they get to know. In some cases, when the parents get to know, they force their daughters to abort the pregnancy because it will bring shame to the family.

There are also cases when the woman is in multiple relationships and can’t tell who is responsible for the pregnancy.

Imagine the case of a woman in the United States who had twins – a black boy and a white girl. Obviously, she slept with two men within a short time.
