Bulk oil distributors chamber offers scholarship to fire victim
The Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD) has offered scholarship to a victim in the 2016 La Trade Fair fire explosion.
A seed money of GH¢20,000 has been placed in a trust account for him.
The young boy caught the eye of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the CBOD,
Master Addo was on admission for months leading to the deferment in fulfilling of the pledge.

Mother of the beneficiary, Madam Olivia Bansah, expressed gratitude to the CBOD for the kind gesture.
Michael and other family members were caught up in the fire when he had gone to visit his grandmother.
Background
The CBOD on December 26, 2016, donated GH¢11,000 to 22 of the victims of the La gas explosion at the 37 Military Hospital.
Each of the victims received a cash donation of GH¢500.
The chamber followed up a year later and donated GH¢50,000 to the burns unit.
The trade fair gas explosion claimed nine lives and injured 40 others.
