KNUST holds Career Fair
The Career Services Centre at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has held this year's Career Fair in Kumasi.

The annual fair is a platform where employers and potential employees, top talents from KNUST, connect, collaborate, and share career opportunities. It was held under the theme: “Collaborating for Mutually Beneficial Outcomes.”
The Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, Professor Mrs. Rita Akosua Dickson, in her opening remarks, said the fair was a pivotal opportunity for students to engage with potential employers and gain invaluable insights into the professional world beyond campus.
“In today's rapidly evolving job market, students must be proactive, adaptable, and well-informed about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead,” she noted. “The connections made here today will pave the way for internships, mentorships, and future employment opportunities," she emphasized, urging students to take advantage of the fair.
She expressed gratitude to the sponsors and other industry partners for their support.
Also present were Dr. Caroline Aggrey-Fynn, the Deputy Manager of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation, and Peter Bosrotsi, the Human Resource Risk and Operations Manager at GCB Bank PLC, who both reaffirmed their organizations' commitment to continue providing opportunities for students to connect with industry.
On her part, the Director of the KNUST Career Services Centre, Selina Angmor, said the Centre was established to primarily equip students with unparalleled resources and opportunities, enabling them to realize their potential and build on their entrepreneurial acumen to become competitive in today’s world of work.
“The Centre stands as a beacon of hope and a nexus of opportunities, providing indispensable guidance, support, and resources to navigate the complexities of career paths with unwavering confidence and determination,” she noted.
