A statement released by the manufacturing firm on Wednesday urged all teachers and non-teaching staff to contact ICT Coordinators in their respective regions or districts for assistance to enable them receive their laptops.

It said even though almost 96 percent of all beneficiary teaching and non-teaching staff of GES have taken delivery of their laptops, the company is stepping up its efforts to ensure all outstanding beneficiaries in all parts of the country take advantage of the initiative as it brings the nationwide distribution to a close.

The company indicated that the creation of the collection short code was for audit purposes and to ensure that only eligible teaching and non-teaching staff are served.

Teachers in the Ashanti, Greater Accra, North East, Upper West, Upper East, Northern and Savannah regions are to activate their short code *790*555# and contact their ICT coordinators from Thursday July 25 to collect their laptops while teachers and non-teaching staff  in the remaining 10 regions are to go through the same process from the Wednesday, July 30, 2024.
