The National Service Authority (NSA) has deployed 85,159 tertiary graduates to undertake their one-year mandatory national service across public and private institutions in the country.
In a statement issued on October 28, 2025, the Director-General of the NSA, Ms Ruth Dela Seddoh, said the figure represents the first batch of postings for the 2025/26 service year, which officially begins on Monday, November 3, 2025.
She explained that the number excludes personnel with unresolved data mismatches, as well as teachers, nurses, midwives, and other categories yet to be deployed.
The total number of postings is expected to increase as these outstanding cases are resolved.
According to the statement, a total of 150,937 students initially uploaded their details onto the system, out of which 91,339 paid for the required pin code.
Of these, 85,459 were verified using their Ghana Cards, and 85,159 completed the full registration process.
The NSA has scheduled regional validation and registration exercises from Wednesday, October 29, to Friday, November 21, 2025.
Service personnel are expected to check their postings on the Authority’s official website, gnsa.gov.gh, print their appointment letters, and book appointments online for registration at designated Regional Validation and Registration Centres.
The Authority cautioned prospective service personnel against engaging individuals or groups claiming they can influence postings.
It said the NSA does not work through middlemen or agents.
“Management wishes to remind all personnel to refrain from engaging the services of scam syndicates for changes in postings and other related issues,” the statement said.
To complete the process, personnel must present their endorsed appointment letters together with their Ghana Cards at the registration centres.
The Authority urged the public to understand the technical processes involved in the national service posting arrangements.
Ms Seddoh congratulated the newly posted personnel and wished them success in their assignments contributing to national development.
