Asantehene to conclude Bawku conflict mediation session on December 1, 2025

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has scheduled a two-day meeting on November 30 and December 1, 2025, to conclude the mediation session of the Bawku chieftaincy conflict.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Manhyia Palace, dated November 10, 2025 and and signed by the Chief of Staff, Kofi Badu.
It said the Asantehene has praised both sides for their positive approach to the mediation process so far and appealed to all concerned to avoid any actions likely to affect the progress towards a lasting solution to the Bawku conflict.
