An Assembly member aspirant has been shot dead in Wa in the Upper West Region, it has been reported.

Accra-based Joy FM reported Friday that the man, Robert Salia, was shot multiple times by unknown assailants Thursday night as he was returning home from town.
He was a teacher at St. Cecilia Junior High School in Wa.
