Atinka TV’s ‘Kronkron’ Season two launched
‘Kronkron’ Season Two, a band worship TV reality show organised by Atinka Media Village (AMV), has been launched in Accra.
The show is a worship-centred competition that creates a platform for bands to compete among themselves in Christian worship.
The launch brought together bands from season one and renowned musicians, including Cindy Thompson, and Erico who worshipped and praised God in their various styles.

Improvement
Speaking at the launch on Friday, October 11, 2019, the Managing Director of AMV, Mr Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, said this year’s edition was an improvement on season one.
He said in addition to a set of musical instruments and GH₵10,000 for the winner, GH₵10,000 cash for the first runner-up and GH₵5000 for the second runner-up, the first top three bands would also get fully sponsored recording sessions for their albums courtesy We2 Band, winners of Season one.
That sponsorship package, he said, amounted to GH₵100,000.
He also stated that bands with persons with disability (PWDs) would qualify automatically to participate in the competition.
“One important aspect of Season Two is the automatic qualification for bands made up of persons with disability to the eviction stage of the competition.
This is in line with AMV’s vision of creating equal opportunity for all Ghanaians,” he said.

Promotion
Mr Dwumfour added that the Season Two would be used to promote sanitation, especially discouraging the use of plastics, which he said was the cause of many environmental problems.
“AMV’s project ‘Say No to Polybags’ is aimed at protecting the environment by encouraging the use of paper bags instead of polybags.
Kronkron Season Two will serve as a rallying point to promote this agenda,” he explained.
He assured the public of a better and bigger version of Kronkron, entreating all viewers and listeners of Atinka TV to brace themselves up for a powerful and entertaining season two.

“The AMV has a track record when it comes to executing events and reality shows in particular.
The successful hosting of the Di Asa Season Three grand finale at the Fantasy Dome is an ample testimony.
I can assure you that Kronkron Season Two will be bigger and better following the huge success of Season One, which had the grand finale at the National Theatre on March 10, 2019,” he stated.
