Leaders of the Katapor branch explained that the former auditorium, could not accommodate the growing congregation; thus, the decision to build a new one that would serve the increasing membership.

House of worship

Delivering his sermon to inaugurate the new auditorium, Prophet Kyei-Duah said while God did not dwell in just buildings, it was important for worshippers to have a commonplace of fellowship where they could collectively seek the face of God and worship Him.

He prayed that anyone who came to the ‘House of God’ to seek salvation and also a solution to their problems would ‘encounter God for him or herself’.

He emphasised the need for congregants to show reverence to the new church building for what it stood for, advising them not to deface it.

No to political violence

The prophet seized the opportunity to admonish political leaders to impress upon their supporters to refrain from violent acts during their political campaigns for the country to remain united after the crucial December 7, 2024, general election.

He urged them to treasure Ghana as "we have nowhere to go when we destroy the country".

Prophet Kyei-Duah stressed the need for all Ghanaians, irrespective of their political affiliations, to pray for peace and rapid development of the nation.

Vision

The Greater Accra Regional Head Pastor of the church, Brother Emmanuel Cobbinah, was full of praise for the founder of the church for his foresight and vision and the decision to initiate the project for a bigger, more convenient auditorium.

He was full of praise for the site engineer of the new auditorium for putting up such an edifice and urged the congregation to take proper care of the facility for it to last long.

Philanthropy

An Associate Pastor of the church, Brother Nicholas Gyamfi, said the founder was not only interested in the spiritual welfare of its members but also in their social and economic well-being.

As a result, he has been undertaking some acts of philanthropy to support members in need, aimed at financially empowering them to lead dignified lifestyles.
