Biakoye DCE passes on
The Biakoye District Chief Executive (DCE), Nana Louis Akattah, is dead.

He died Sunday at the Margaret Marquart Hospital at Kpando in the Volta Region after a short illness.
He was rushed to the hospital last Friday but passed on yesterday morning.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Kpando, Mrs Paulina Adinyira, who confirmed the death to newsmen, said the body of the DCE had been deposited at the mortuary of the hospital.
The last time the District Chief Executive was seen in public was at the national conference held to discuss the land conflicts between the people of Peki and Tsito on one side and Alavanyo and Nkonya on the other side.
At that conference, he told the Daily Graphic that he had not been well for sometime.
The late Nana Akattah was the first district chief executive for Biakoye which was carved out of the Jasikan District.
He was a native of Akpossou-Kabo near Worawora.
