Building complex for Adjen-Kotoku SHS
A two storey building complex for the Adjen-Kotoku Senior High School has been inaugurated at Adjen-Kotoku in the Ga-West Municipal Assembly in the Greater Accra Region.
The complex, which has a computer laboratory and a headmistress’s office, forms part of the Adjen-Kotoku re-development programme.
The re-development programme, funded by the government, also included the construction of a market for the relocation of some traders from the Agbogbloshie Market and Old Fadama.
At a durbar to inaugurate the building, the District Chief Executive for Ga-West, Mr Sam Atukwei-Quaye, said the edifice was intended to increase the number of public senior high schools in the municipality to three.
He said the opening of the Adjen-Kotoku SHS was a clear indication of the government’s commitment to making education accessible to all.
He expressed gratitude to the chiefs and people of the community for releasing a large tract of land for the project.
