Charitable organisation supports Accra Psychiatric Hospital
The Accra Psychiatric Hospital last Monday received items worth GH¢6,000 from the Blacknatal and Friends Charity Organisation (BFCO), a non-governmental organisation, to help the patients celebrate the Easter.

The items included food items, used clothing, bottled water, detergents and an undisclosed amount of money.
The Deputy Director of Nursing Service at the hospital, Mr Nsia Anyete, who received the items, intimated the hospital had been facing a lot of challenges, and as a result, appealed to organisations for support.
Mental patients
He called on the public to change their negative perception towards the mentally ill in society.
The President of the Blacknatal and Friends Charity Organisation, Mr Richard Archibong, said the presentation was to show love to the less privileged in the society.
