Company organises seminar on fake spark plugs
First Stockmovers Limited, the distributers of NGK spark plugs, has organised a seminar to educate its dealers on detecting, among other things, fake spark plugs.

The ceremony was used to sensitise the dealers who distribute the company’s products to all there is to know about the product they sell. It was also used to celebrate commitment and hard work.
Speaking at the event, Mr Samir Karroum, a partner of First Stockmovers Limited, said it took a lot of hard work and commitment to partner NGK/NTK Middle East in the quest to make available what he described as high quality brands on the Ghanaian market.
He used the opportunity to thank all the staff for their hard work and congratulated all those who won awards.
Two officials from NGK Spark Plug Middle East FZE, Mr Hisataka Sato, the Managing Director and Mr P. Shihabudheen, the Senior Sales Executive and Mr Masafumi Aoki of the After Sales and Marketing Department, took turns to give presentations on identifying original NGK spark plugs.
The presentation also included the best spark plugs for various types of vehicles and why they should recommend particular plugs for certain cars. The presentation also touched on identifying fake NGK plugs, which destroys the pistons in an engine.
Awards were also presented to deserving distributors for their hard work.
Mr F.M. Jamal won first prize and received a 40-inch flat screen television. Four other people won television sets while 10 others received Samsung phones.
