Ashaiman Estate English Youth Ministry of COP to hold Youth Empowerment Summit on Sept. 23

The Ashaiman Estate English Youth Ministry of the Church of Pentecost (COP) will host this year’s Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) on Monday, September 23.

The Summit, which was started in 2022 with the aim of spiritually empowering the youth to lead godly lives in a time of moral decadence took a break last year.

However, the church has re-evaluated the event to equip the youth wing of the church with the necessary skills, knowledge, and spiritual guidance to succeed in various aspects of life.

 Among the main speakers this year are Pastor Gideon Osei-Appau, the newly appointed resident pastor of the Ashaiman Estate District, Pastor Solomon Anderson, the Hum District Pastor of the Ashaiman Zone, Elder Engineer Bright Tekpor and Elder Stephen Quarshie, the presiding elder of the Ashaiman Estate English Assembly.

This year’s summit is themed “Fan Into Flame, You Are Unleashed,” and it’s expected to feature music performances from The Chosen Vessels and the Sanctuary Choir.

“The Youth Empowerment Summit 2024 is set to be an unforgettable gathering that will inspire and uplift the youth as they explore ways to make a positive impact in their communities, workplaces, and personal lives especially in these times,” a statement from the church said.
