COVID-19: Death toll rises to 175, active cases 3,681

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced that Ghana's death toll from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has increased by seven new deaths to 175 persons.
The GHS in its latest update today (July 30, 2020) also indicated that 736 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded increasing the cumulative tally to 35,142 confirmed cases.
Out of the total number of cases, only 3,681 are active cases while 31,286 persons have recovered from the illness in the country.

Five of the seven deaths were recorded in the Ashanti Region while the other two were recorded in the Greater Accra Region.
The youngest deceased person was a 32-year-old male with underlying health issues and the oldest was a 86-year-old female who had hypertension.
