Dormaahene leaves for annual COBAANA
The President of the Dormaa Traditional Area, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II, will today lead a delegation of chiefs and other dignitaries from the Brong Ahafo Region to attend the seventh annual conference of the Council of Brong Ahafo Associations of North America (COBAANA).
COBAANA is the umbrella body of all Brong Ahafo associations in North America.

The conference, scheduled for September 3 and 4, this year, will be held in Worcester in the United States of America (USA).
Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu will be the Guest of Honour at the two-day conference, which is on the theme: “Changing lives through education”.
It is expected to bring together all the Brong Ahafo associations and Ghanaians resident in North America to discuss how best to contribute to Ghan’s development, especially in the area of education.
Other matters
Speaking to the Daily Graphic, the Ankobeahene of Dormaa, Barima Dei Kusi Gyabaa, said Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu would also use the occasion to advise Ghanaians abroad to support the development of their country.
“The main purpose of Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu’s visit is to speak about how to change the lives of people through education. He will also use the occasion to remind Ghanaians to contribute towards education in Ghana,” he said.
Apart from that, he said, Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu would emphasise the need for Ghanaians resident in North America to help maintain the peace of Ghana in the build up to Election 2016.

Some of the chiefs who will accompany Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu are Barima Yeboah Kodua, Dormaa Aduanahene; Barima Okugyeto Agyeman, Dormaa Adontonhene, and Barima Kusi Gyabaa.
Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu will spend a week in North America.
