She added "Our past Presidents did their best for this club, three Presidents have already passed and I happen to be the fourth. I am just in to continue their deeds and what they left to be continued."

She was of the view that "the purpose of the life of every human being, should be, to make a positive contribution to the continuance and wellbeing of humanity," pointing out that "So, here is where we as Rotarians differ and that's why we are here...to open opportunities for others and ourselves too."

Projects

Outlining some projects the club intended to undertake, Madam Agbosu said her flagship project was to construct a Rotary branded bus-shed opposite the Efutu Municipal Assembly in Winneba.

That, she noted, would improve Rotary visibility in the area which was of great concern to the club, as well as providing a “shelter for the people of this community who commute to and fro.”

She said the club during the 2020/2021 Rotary Year would also work to improve the gender balance in its membership, which was a general challenge in most Rotary clubs.
