Fire destroys 17 cars at Suame - Report

A fire outbreak at Suame in the Ashanti region on Saturday gutted over 17 vehicles and 10 containers, it has been reported.

Spare parts dealers are counting their loss at the Club 600, a section of the Suame Magazine, which was worst hit in the blaze on Saturday, according to a report by Accra-based Starr FM.
Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service had a tough time dousing the raging fire which also destroyed car engines and spare parts, the report said.
The fire, the report added, started at about 4.30am.
