Fire outbreak at Kotoka Airport Restaurant

A fire that started this morning at a restaurant near the Airport Post Office in Accra has been brought under control.
Airport officials said at about 0845 hours, on Thursday, parts of the kitchen of Cargo D' or Combined Farms a building close to the Airport Post Office caught fire.
A team of Rescue and Fire Fighting Personnel from the Ghana Airport Company Ltd (GACL) supported by another team from the National Fire Service which was called in brought the fire under control.
The extent of damage caused by the incident was not immediately determined. A statement by the GACL said operations at the Airport had not been affected by the incident.
