First Lady donates vehicle to Dormaa Midwifery Training School

The First Lady, Mrs Lordina Mahama, has donated a brand new Nissan Pickup to the Dormaa Ahenkro Midwifery Training School in fulfilment of a promise she made to the school sometime ago at the sodcutting ceremony for the construction of a two-storey hostel facility for the school in May this year.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Dormaa, Mr Gordon Asubonteng, presented the vehicle on behalf of Mrs Mahama.

He said the vehicle was personally purchases by the First Lady and reiterated her determination to see to the successful completion of the school’s hostel facility which is projected to ease the accommodation problem of the students.

He urged the management of the school to take good care of the vehicle in order that it may last for a long time and facilitate effective healthcare in the area.

The Principal of the School, Ms Hilda Commey, received the vehicle on behalf of the institution. She expressed gratitude to the First Lady and noted that the vehicle would go a long way to relieve the school of its transportation difficulties.
