‘Ghana Beyond Aid’ does not mean Ghana will not need help - Osafo-Maafo
The Senior Minister, Mr Yaw Osafo-Maafo has explained that the government’s “Ghana Beyond Aid Agenda” does not mean that Ghana will not need the help of others but rely only on its resources.
“When we talk about Ghana Beyond Aid, we are not talking about Ghana not needing aid but Ghana using its resources judiciously,” he said.
According to him, considering the natural resources that Ghana has, the country should have been in the position to offer assistance to other African countries in need but that cannot be said of it.
