A massive downpour in Keta on Wednesday kept most residents indoors for a better part of the day.
The rain, which started at about 9:30 am and ended at 2:30 pm, submerged five houses and flooded the Agorte, Sankara and Keta Central roads.
The deluge also flooded parts of the Keta Senior High Technical School.
The Keta Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Wonder Setsoafia Deynu, told the Daily Graphic in Keta that, after the rainfall, two men and two women were displaced.
No casualty was recorded, he said.
“We are still assessing the damage,” the municipal NADMO director added.
