Art centre has not been sold - Nana Asante Bediatuo reacts

The Secretary to the President, Nana Asante Bediatuo, has debunked claims that he has sold the Accra Art Centre.

In an audio recording circulating on social media, an unidentified woman is heard alleging that she had facilitated a meeting between Nana Bediatuo and some chiefs for the sale of the Art Centre.

But reacting to the claims in a statement released from the Office of the President, Nana Bediatuo said “I wish to put on record that I have never met this unnamed, unidentified woman or the elders and the chiefs she claims she brought to meet with me”.

He described the allegation against him as baseless, false, and a complete fabrication.

“She does not state the date of the meeting, the place where the meeting took place, and the names of the elders and chiefs who accompanied her to the alleged meeting. That is because the so-called meeting never took place, or at least not with me”, he emphasized.

He, therefore, entreated all persons to disregard the audio, stop circulating it, and treat it with the utter contempt it deserves.
