IGP lauds ADB’s growth agenda - Pledges stronger police partnership

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has commended the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC for its renewed growth momentum and strong customer-focused direction.

He also expressed the readiness of the Ghana Police Service to enhance partnerships with the bank.

IGP Yohuno made the remarks when he attended ADB’s Customer Interaction Breakfast Meeting in Accra last Wednesday as the Special Guest of Honour.

The event was attended by customers, the Board of Directors and the Executive Management Team of the bank, top-ranking officials of the Police Service, and other key stakeholders across sectors.

Renewed customer confidence

In his brief address, the IGP praised the strides being made by the bank, stating that the turnaround reflected “strong leadership, disciplined execution and renewed customer confidence.”

Mr Yohuno added that a stable, efficient banking system was essential for national development and pledged the Police Administration’s readiness to enhance collaboration and institutional support for ADB and the financial sector as a whole.

Welcoming customers and all participants earlier, the bank’s Deputy Managing Director in charge of Services, Sylvia Naa Kwakai Nyante, expressed appreciation to customers for their loyalty and encouraged them to continue offering feedback to help the bank continually improve its service delivery.

The Managing Director, Edward Ato Sarpong, led an interactive feedback session during which customers shared practical insights on innovations, service experience, processes, product offerings, including digital channels and turnaround times.

The session forms part of ADB’s continuous efforts to refine and effectively implement its “Beyond Banking” agenda of redefining banking, empowering businesses, building futures, driving prosperity, nurturing communities and enhancing service excellence, among others.

The event ended with a high-level networking session among customers, board members, senior management of the bank and other stakeholders, reinforcing ADB’s commitment to building stronger partnerships.

Participants expressed satisfaction with the engagement and highlighted the importance of such events in shaping a more responsive, customer-driven banking experience.
