Otumfuo hails KGL Group Executive Chairman Alex Dadey
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has commended the Executive Chairman of KGL Group, Mr Alex Apau Dadey, for his immense contribution to the development of Asanteman and Ghana.
Taking time to highlight some of the KGL boss's achievements, the Asantehene noted that initiatives his Group has undertaken such as the construction of a mental health facility in the Ashanti Region, the payment of GHc153 million in taxes this year, and sponsorships of major events and programmes have been phenomenal, catapulting the nation to greater heights.
Speaking at the Executive Dinner Ball, the Asantehene stated that it is a great pride that Manhyia Palace is associated with the KGL Group.
“It’s been our great pride to be associated with this incredible Ghanaian enterprise, with all the skill set, entrepreneurial drive, and managerial acumen to operate on a global scale,” he said.
He added: “Dadey’s leadership is shedding further light on exemplary Ghanaian leadership and affirming, beyond any doubt, that the nation can only count its blessings through the success of its businessmen.”
Top honours
Mr Dadey received the highest honours at the Executive Dinner Ball.
He is leading the presentation of the Otumfuo commemorative gold coins, medals, and bars to world leaders, Ghanaians, the African diaspora, and the global community.
Mr Dadey has demonstrated unwavering support for Otumfuo’s peace initiatives and the development of Asanteman.
As the lead sponsor of the Executive Dinner Ball, Mr Dadey stood as a key figure in the landmark celebration of Otumfuo.
