President Mahama reaffirms ‘Resetting’ agenda in Christmas message

President John Dramani Mahama has expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for the trust reposed in his administration, pledging an unwavering commitment to his flagship ‘Resetting Ghana’ Agenda.

In his first Christmas message since returning to the Presidency on January 7 this year, the President struck a tone of gratitude and determination, describing the Christmas season as a period of hope and renewal that should inspire national collective effort.

“It's my first Christmas with you, as your come-back President and I am filled with gratitude for the trust you have placed in my government,” President Mahama stated in a message disseminated across his official social media handles.

He emphasised that his administration was “committed to the #ResettingGhana Agenda to position Ghana on a path of inclusive growth, job creation, accountability and prosperity.”

The message comes at a time of heightened public expectations regarding the economic direction of the country.

Outlining the scope of the work ahead, President Mahama stressed the government’s resolve to “revive our economy, complete stalled projects, expand our infrastructure and build a Ghana that works for every citizen.”

He acknowledged the scale of the task, urging tireless collaboration.

“As we work, together, tirelessly, let us draw inspiration from the hope that Christmas brings,” he appealed to the citizenry.

The ‘Resetting Ghana’ Agenda has been the central theme of President Mahama’s administration, promising a decisive shift in economic management, governance, and national development.

President Mahama’s Christmas message strategically linked this political agenda to the universal themes of hope, faith and new beginnings associated with the birth of Christ.
