
School proprietor installed Gomoa Wassa Gyasehene
The Director of Young Executive and Onua Francis International School, Noble Francis Essel Okyeahene, has been installed as the Gyasehene of the Gomoa Wassa community.
He was enstooled with the stool name, Nana Kwesi Essel Okyeahene I.
Following his installation, Nana Okyeahene pledged to work hard to bring development to the area.
He had earlier constructed a 20-seater public toilet for the community, two guest houses in the community and also renovated the community public school.
Nana Okyeahene I promised to develop the community and also called on the community members to come together and desist from unnecessary litigation among themselves.
He also charged the youth in the community to focus on education.
Gomoa Wassa is a farming area with the population of over 5,000 but finding jobs for the youth has become a major challenge.
Installation
After the installation ceremony, the Chief of Gomoa Wassa, Nana Kow Arkoh Ansah V, charged sub-chiefs and residents to bury their differences and come together to develop the area.
Nana Ansah also called on the government to help with the provision of jobs to reduce the high unemployment rate in the area.
He appealed to all to work towards job creation to reduce social vices in the Gomoa communities.
