Ghana Twins Foundation supports orphanage

The Ghana Twins Foundation has donated a large quantity of items to children of the Save them Young Mission Home in the Golf City, Ashaiman, near Accra.

The items, which included, food items, soft drinks, candies and toiletries, were presented as part of the Valentine’s Day celebrations.

The day was termed, the Kamaya Day of Love in memory of Maya Abou-Jaoude, a founder member of the foundation, for her selfless love for humanity.

A co-founder of the foundation, Ms Zeena Abou Jaoude, who made the presentation, said the foundation would forever honour the memory of her sister, Maya, for her untiring effort in putting smiles on the faces of the underprivileged when she was alive.

The Administrator of the orphanage, Mrs Rosemond Mensah, who received the items on behalf of the orphanage, thanked the foundation for the kind gesture and expressed the hope the donation would not be the last but the beginning of a long- lasting relationship with the orphanage.
