GNPC launches oil and gas foundation

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has launched an oil and gas foundation to offer scholarships to Ghanaians to undertake oil and gas-related courses.
The foundation, with a $3-million seed money, will offer scholarships for courses at the first degree, master’s and doctoral (PhD) programmes in both local and international universities.
The initiative is aimed, among others, at developing a pool of professionals for the country’s oil and gas industry.
