Gomoa Central MP supports aged women

The Member of Parliament for the Gomoa Central Constituency in the Central Region, Mrs Rachel Florence Appoh Opoku, has called for proper care of the aged in the society.

She stated that providing the needed care and support for the elderly in the society was the responsibility of all, and that such a move would enable them to live longer.

According to her, the situation where the aged in the society were neglected was very worrying and needed to be avoided.

Mrs Appoh Opoku made the statement when she presented 40 bags of maize to 96 women, aged 65 and above, at Gomoa Aboso and Achiase.

She said the donation was part of her social intervention programme.
