Government expects inflation to moderate at 8 per cent with a band of plus or minus 2 per cent.
Presenting the 2017 Budget Statement and Government Economic Policy in Parliament on Thursday, Mr Ofori-Atta said inflation was on an upward trend during the beginning of 2016, hovering around 19 per cent.
It has however eased to 13.3 per cent as the end of January 13.3 per cent.
