Graphic holds get-together to celebrate anniversary of two publications
The Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) last Friday held a get-together of management and unionised staff to mark the 65th and the 10th anniversaries of The Mirror and the Graphic Business, respectively, two of the company’s six newspaper publications.
The occasion was also meant for all workers of the company to
The Mirror was established in 1953, while the Graphic Business was set up in 2008.

Both newspapers have made strides over the years, delivering quality news to the public.
There was a lot to eat and drink on the occasion and a commemorative cake was cut to mark the 10th milestone of the Graphic Business, the youngest newspaper in the company’s stable.

Addressing the gathering, the acting Managing Director (MD) of the GCGL,

"If we work hard and deliver the newspapers to consumers early, I can guarantee that all packages due you will be given you. That, I can assure you," he said.
Graphic Business Editor
The Editor of the Graphic Business,
"Moving forward, we will continue to be viable and profitable and we will never become a by-word. We will never be counted among newspapers that were set up but could not survive. That will never be our story because God is with us," he said.
He thanked the Graphic Business team for contributing to the success of the newspaper and commended past staff for laying a good foundation for it.
