Graphic launches digitised versions of brands

Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) achieved yet another feat by launching the digitised versions of its various brands in Accra yesterday.
The Graphic News App is available for download and subscription for android platform users on Google Play Store while those who use apple products can access it on the apple playstore.

The app is an electronic replica of the various brands of the company’s newspapers, which are the Daily Graphic, The Mirror, Graphic Sports, Graphic Showbiz and the Junior Graphic.

The GCGL has, thus, taken a leading role in setting a new standard for newspaper journalism in the country, in an era of stiff competition with social media and other non-traditional means of news dissemination.

Speaking at the media launch of the app, the Managing Director of the GCGL, Mr Kenneth Ashigbey, said the app was the result of the company’s constant search for innovative ways to make its products and services convenient to customers in line with the corporate value of customer focus.

He said the app had made it possible for those who hitherto had no access to the newspapers of the Graphic stable to have them.
