IGP Dampare congratulates his new Deputy COP Yohuno

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare together with the members of the Police Management Board and the entire Police Service has congratulated Mr Christian Tetteh Yohuno, on his promotion to the rank of Deputy Inspector-General of Police.

"We wish you all the best as we continue to work together with our colleagues in the pursuit of peace, security, law and order in our beloved country," a police statement issued on Thursday, July 18, 2024, said. 

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo promoted COP Yohuno to his current status based on the advice of the Police Council.

"This appointment is pursuant to the advice of the Police Council at its meeting held today, Wednesday, 17th July 2024, during which COP Yohuno's exceptional credentials and dedication to duty were acknowledged," a press release from the presidency said.
