Joyce Bawah Mogtari expresses gratitude for appointment as Presidential Adviser and Special Aide
Mrs Joyce Bawah Mogtari has expressed her gratitude to God and President John Dramani Mahama for her appointment as Presidential Adviser and Special Aide to the President.
In a post on her X account on Tuesday, January 21, she credited the announcement to God, believing it to be a confirmation of His will.
Mogtari also thanked President John Dramani Mahama and her supporters for the honour, writing, "God has spoken, and I know He has confirmed and established JB, the people’s leader! I am grateful to each one of you and to President JD Mahama."
The President has also appointed Seth Emmanuel Terkper as Presidential Adviser on the Economy.
Additionally, Professor Francis Dodoo will lead the fight against corruption as Presidential Adviser on the National Anti-Corruption Programme.
Other appointments include Nana Yaa Jantuah and Beatrice Annangfio as Presidential Staffers, and Shamima Muslim as Deputy Presidential Spokesperson.
Rounding out the list, Professor Kwaku Danso-Boafo has been appointed as Cabinet Secretary, a crucial role in coordinating government business.
In a statement, President Mahama expressed his confidence in the appointees, stating that they bring a wealth of expertise and dedication to their respective roles.
