The new location is the former office of the Constitutional Review Commission, No.16, 5th link, Cantonments, opposite the American Embassy Roundabout in Accra.

The public sittings will start at 10 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

A statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the commission, Mr George William Dove, said members of the public who wished to testify or volunteer information were advised to report at the commission’s office to give their statements.

That, it stated, would enable the commission to schedule dates for such individuals to provide evidence.

However, members of the public who intended to testify information to the commission but would be unable to be present were encouraged to submit memoranda to the commission.

“The commission wishes to assure persons who may testify or assist the commission in its work that their identities will be protected and their safety guaranteed,” it stated.

The Old Parliament House which served as the venue for the commission was burnt down in a fire outbreak, temporarily halting its proceedings.
