This time, it was due to the absence of the presiding judge, William Boampong.

Although the accused and his counsel were in court, the court clerks had to give the parties new date for the prosecution to start its case.

Consequently the case was adjourned to February 27, 2015.

The hiplife artiste is standing trial for publicly smoking substances suspected to be ‘wee’ Indian hemp.

At the last adjourned date, the court had to adjourn the case to February 13; due to the inability of the prosecution to produce its witness to begin the case.

When the case was called, Superintendent of Police Emmanuel Akonnor, informed the court that his witnesses were still not ready and pleaded with the court to give him one more week to bring them.

The court presided over by Mr William Boampong, obliged him and adjourned the case to February 13, 2015.

However, at the court today (Friday), it was the judge himself who was unavailable.

Kwaw Kese also known as Abodam, is standing trial for publicly smoking substance suspected to be Indian hemp.

Known in private life as Emmanuel Botwe, Kwaw Kese was arrested on November 22, 2014 at Nhyiaeso, a suburb of Kumasi, at a pub called Plus2 for publicly smoking cannabis.

This was after he had performed at the Luv Fm Old Skull concert at the Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi.
