Latex Foam donates to National Chief Imam

Latex Foam, the leading foam manufacturing company in Ghana and West Africa has presented a cow and an undisclosed amount of money to the National Chief Imam, Sheik Dr Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, for the celebration of this year’s Eid ul-Adha.

The gesture, which has become part of the company’s yearly corporate activities forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.
Eid-ul-Adha is a festival celebrated among Muslims in remembrance of the sacrifice Prophet Ibrahim made out of his strong faith in Allah, the Most High.

Presenting the cow and the money, the Export Manager of Latex Foam, Dr Yakubu Diomande, said the gesture was to deepen the relationship between Latex Foam and the Office of the National Chief Imam.

He said the company reveres the office of the National Chief Imam due to its role in the promotion of peace in the country, particularly promoting religious tolerance among the various faiths.

He noted that over the years, Latex Foam has been donating to the office during the Eid al-Adha celebrations.

Dr Diomande explained that “donating to the office has always been a pleasure” pointing out that Latex Foam will continue to support worthy celebrations in the country.

He also used the event to wish all Muslims in the country and across the world fruitful celebrations.

Commendation

The Chief Protocol Officer at the Office of the National Chief Imam, Alhaji Latif Abdulsalam, who received the items on behalf of the National Chief Imam, commended Latex Foam for the gesture, saying the company has been donating to the office on a yearly basis.

He said there is a cordial relationship between the Latex Foam and the Chief Imam’s office, expressing the gratitude of the Chief Imam to the senior management of the company.

Alhaji Abdulsalam also took the opportunity to pray for more successes for the company, stressing that Allah blesses anyone who supports His work.

Latex Foam, recently granted Superbrand status for the second time in seven years, has been committed to corporate social responsibility in many areas of national development, including donation to support the annual National Farmers’ Day celebration, and support for needy and brilliant students of the University of Ghana.
