Live band show to mark Mother’s Day
A live band show will be held at the Banquet Hall of the State House on May 10, 2015 to mark Mother’s Day.

The performance organised by OZON Media, one of the organisers of the annual Mothers Day celebration in Ghana, would feature prominent Ghanaian artists such as Obaapa Christy and Ben Brako.
There would also be a buffet, give-aways and a lot of prizes to be given to participants, especially mothers.
In Ghana, Mother’s Day is held on the second of May every year to recognise the important role mothers play in society.
For the past eight years, Ozon media has ensured that mothers are celebrated and appreciated through entertaining programmes.
Mothers who also attend the annual function are rewarded with items ranging from mobile phones, wax prints, cooking utensils, hair products and jewellery vouchers.
In 2014, Ms Elizabeth Amegashie, was adjuged mother of the year. For her prize, she enjoyed a trip to Dubai.
Others were also given special weekend treats at hotels including the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Busua Beach Hotel, Mensvic Grand Hotel and Citi Escape Hotel.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of Ozon Media, Nana Tweneboa-Koduah, told the Daily Graphic that this year’s function would be an exceptional one.
