The UN General Assembly in recent years has repeatedly emphasised that the genuine achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), now the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and other internationally agreed development goals, require the inclusion and integration of the rights, well-being, as well as the perspective of persons with Physical Challenges in development efforts at national, regional and international levels.
