Medical Women Association, Ghana supports orphans in Liberia
The Medical Women Association of Ghana (MWAG) has donated assorted food items and clothes worth GHc3,000 to the Liberian Embassy to support orphans in Liberia.

The items include bags of rice, toiletries, shoes and books for the use of children who have lost their guardians and parents to the Ebola disease.
In her address, the immediate past President of MWAG, Dr Mabel Aboah, said the donation was part of efforts to support orphans in Liberia.
According to her, the items were meant to provide comfort for the children and ensure they enjoyed the festivities, adding that the organisation was aware of the challenges children in orphanages faced and had resolved to lend them their support.
She stated that the association had put plans in place to assist the children by providing them with educational materials.
Appreciation
The Head of Mission at the Liberian Embassy, Ms Musu Ruhle, commended the association for its immense support to the orphans.
She said, the Ebola crisis had left many children homeless and needed support.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Liberian Government, she urged corporate organisations and individuals to help with the upkeep of the orphans.
