They included a boiling steriliser, sterilising drum, weighing and height scales, hospital beds, delivery beds, mattresses, ward screen and stethoscope.

Beneficiary institutions

The beneficiary institutions were the Nsuta Hospital, Kwamang, Beposo, Atonsu, Asubuaso  Oku and Birem health centres, and four other facilities.

Making the presentation to the Sekyere Central District Directorate of the Ghana Health Service to be distributed to the 11 health facilities in the area, Mr Asafo-Adjei, urged health personnel to develop good maintenance culture at their workplaces to protect and prolong the lifespan of the equipment.

He commended health personnel in the district for their dedication to healthcare delivery and urged them to continue to work harder and use the items for the intended purposes to benefit the people.

The Sekyere Central District Director of Health Services, Mr Cletus Opoku Amankwah, who received the equipment on behalf of the various facilities, thanked the MP for the donation.
