Only final-year students should go to school - Kwamena Duncan
Central Regional Minister, Mr Kwamena Duncan has suggested that only final-year Senior High School students across the country should be allowed to return to school.
This according to him will provide students the opportunity to write their final examination while government uses the opportunity to also learn and make changes in order not to breach safety protocols when schools reopen nationwide.
“I will recommend opening the schools, ensuring that the children are not crowded together especially the final-year students, I will go for the final year students because we must get the final year students off the board,” he said.

Speaking to Citi News on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, Mr Duncun said the COVID-19 regional teams could be tasked with the responsibility of checking on schools.
“…When we have done that and succeeded largely, and when we reopen, we must not just go to sleep. All the stakeholders including the COVID-19 management teams at the district level, at the regional level, district chief executives, regional ministers; we must continuously and constantly be visiting the schools”, he said.
