Opuni and Agongo granted GhȻ300,000 bail each
The Accra High Court has granted former COCOBOD boss, Stepehen Kwabena Opuni and business man, Seidu Agongo, self recognizance bail in the sum of GhȻ300,000 each.
The two, accused of causing financial loss of GhȻ271.3 million to the state, were granted bail after their respective lawyers made a case for bail.
The duo have also pleaded not guilty to the charges.

As part of their bail conditions, the court, presided over by Mr Justice C.J. Honyenuga, ordered the two accused to deposit their passports with the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.
Opuni and Agongo have also been ordered to report to the Director-General of the CID anytime they want to travel outside the country.
The court further ordered the Director-General of the CID to make a report to the court registry 48 hours after the accused report to him.
