Police arrest suspect for possession of device allegedly belonging to the EC

The Ghana Police Service on Friday, August 23, 2024, arrested a suspect, Yaw Korateng, at Nsawam in the Eastern Region for allegedly being in possession of a device believed to belong to the Electoral Commission (EC).

The suspect is currently in police custody, assisting with the investigation.
The Police Service has notified the EC of the arrest and has invited them to verify whether the device is indeed their property.
