Counting of ballots is underway after presidential and parliamentary elections ended officially across Ghana. Seven candidates, including the incumbent President John Dramani Mahama are vying for the presidency.
There rest are the CPP's Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, the NDP's Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom of the PPP, Nana Akufo-Addo of the NPP, Dr Edward Mahama of the PNC, and independent candidate Jacob Osei Yeboah. There are 1,158 parliamentary candidates, out of which there are only 136 females.
