Rebranded Verna Mineral Water to support children with Autism
In order to highlight the growing need for concern and awareness about autism, Twellium Industrial Company, producers of Verna Natural Mineral Water last Saturday joined some of Ghana’s celebrities to help raise awareness about the neurological disorder as part of its rebranding drive.
The company will do this by supporting the ambition of three young autistic girls who aspire to be models and actresses.

In that regard, the company assembled a number of celebrities and models to meet the young women and to inspire them.
The celebrities included actresses Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku; Juliet Ibrahim; Victoria Lebene, Photo Model Afi Antonio; Fashion GH TV show host, Anita Akuffo, and musician Deborah Vanessa.
Autism
The celebrities believe supporting a noble cause such as the Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) awareness campaign was their own way of shinning a light on a neurological disorder that affects the normal growth and development of children.
According to them, it is important to dedicate time to autism affected children in order to inspire them to achieve their goals in life.
They encouraged Ghanaians to read more about the disorder, which inhibits communication and social interaction in order to help create awareness and support children who suffer from such fates.
Rebranding
At a brief ceremony to unveil the rebranded Verna Mineral Water, Assistant Marketing Manager of Twellium Industries, said anyone who patronises the Verna Mineral Water is indirectly changing the lives of others because portion of the proceeds from sales are allocated to support people facing peculiar challenges in life.
She said the company was happy to extend a helping hand to such an important cause and believes it will bring about the desired results aimed at helping to improve the lives of autistic children in order to give them hope for the future.

“We believe in the talent of the autistic sisters. We have given them this platform to reach their dreams because we have them in our hearts, “she said.
Ms Gyasi said Verna believes in changing lives and supporting the ambition of the aspiring autistic models and actresses was the right way to create awareness for the neurological and developmental disorder.
The occasion was also used to launch the rebranded Verna Natural Mineral Water, which now comes in a redesigned pink and blue label fitted with a yoghurt-pink cap.
The bottle also has the ‘Changing Lives’ logo, embossed on it to bring into focus the company’s social intervention programs.
