Rev. Frimpong-Manso does not understand prophecies and scriptures – Nigel Gaisie

The Leader of the True Word Prophetic Fire Ministries, Prophet Nigel Gaisie thinks that the President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), Rev Professor Paul Yaw Frimpong-Manso does not understand prophecies, hence his erroneous view that prophecies about electoral victories are ‘wrong, fake and false.’

According to him, prophets do not speak their own mind and that they speak the mind of God about events that are yet to happen.

He has, therefore, described Rev. Frimpong-Manso’s views that electoral prophecies are fake and false as “unfortunate comment” coming from a man of such pedigree in the work of God.

For Prophet Gaisie, all his prophecies have come to pass and that his prophecy that former President Mahama will win this year’s election is not fake or false — it will come to pass.

To buttress his point, he said he predicted the selection of a female running mate for both Ghana and the United States and the two prophecies have all come true.

According to him, his prophecy that Ghana is going to have its first female Vice President is gradually being fulfilled in the person of Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman, the running mate of former President Mahama for the 2020 elections.

Prophecies and prophets

Prophet Nigel Gaisie together with Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, Rev. Owusu Bempah, and Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako are among pastors in Ghana who have given electoral prophecies about who will win the 2020 presidential polls in December.

While Prophet Gaisie has tipped former President Mahama to win the elections, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, Rev. Owusu Bempah, and Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako have tipped President Akufo-Addo to retain his seat.

These men of God all gave their prophecies during the 31st December all night service at their various churches.

Their prophecies have generated debates in the media, with many people questioning why God cannot speak with one voice if indeed, God was the one who spoke to all of them.

Christian Council

Rev. Frimpong-Manso in an address on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, when former President John Dramani Mahama formally presented his running mate, Prof. Opoku-Agyeman to the leadership of the Christian Council of Ghana at the Assemblies of God headquarters in Accra, urged politicians and voters to ignore prophecies about electoral victories and instead work hard to win their elections.

For Rev. Frimpong-Manso, fake prophets give such electoral victory prophecies in order to exploit politicians and political parties.

Interestingly, while Rev. Frimpong-Manso was giving his address, Prophet Gaisie, who has also given a prophecy on this year’s election that Mr Mahama will win the contest was in the room and after the programme, Graphic Online approached him for a comment on what the President of the GPCC had said.

For Prophet Gaisie, Rev. Frimpong-Manso’s views were based on his lack of understanding of scriptures about the work of prophets.

According to him, if Rev. Frimpong-Manso understood what the scriptures say about prophets and their work, he would not have passed such a comment that prophecies about electoral victories are fake and false.

For him, if his prophecy about the fact that former President Mahama will win this year’s election did not come to pass, Ghana is bound to suffer a severe form of hardship, such as famine, same as what the country faced in the year, 1983.
