Savannah Visionary Network honours Alhassan Andani
The Savannah Visionary Network (SVN), an association of people from northern Ghana who are interested in the development of the regions in the area, has honoured the immediate past Chief Executive Officer of the Stanbic Bank, Mr Alhassan Andani for his dedicated service to the network and the development of northern Ghana.
Mr Andani, who recently retired as the CEO of the Stanbic Bank is one of the patrons of the SVN.
At a short and colourful ceremony organised at the residence of Mr Andani’s in Accra on Saturday, December 5, 2020 by the leadership and members of SVN, the Secretary of the network, Mr Hamza Mumuni, extolled the exemplary contributions and leadership qualities of Mr Andani toward the development of the network and northern Ghana.

He said Mr Andani had not stopped being loyal to the course of the network and northern Ghana even after retiring from active service.
He said the network was grateful that when Mr Andani was approached to be a patron of the network, he did not decline their request.
Mr Mumuni said the group would continue to consult Mr Andani for his guidance and direction towards the development of the network and northern Ghana as a whole.
He also urged people from northern Ghana who were in position to help the less privileged ones in northern Ghana to come onboard and support the cause of the network.

The leadership of SVN presented a citation to Mr Andani, describing him as a chief, a philanthropist, a patron, a great leader, mentor, motivator and an outstanding inspiration to many.
Part of the citation read: “Your selfless leadership and exceptional personality has endeared you to many around the world in business, banking and in humanitarian service.
You are a gift to Dagbon and Ghana at large. We, savannah visionary network appreciate and celebrate your Royal Highness Pishigu Lana Alhaji Alhassan Andani for all your achievements and service to humanity.”
In his brief remarks, Mr Andani expressed his gratitude to the network for the gesture and pledged that he would continue to support the development of the network and northern Ghana.

He said northern Ghana needed to be developed by her own people, urging all indigenes of the area to contribute their quota towards the development of the regions in the north.
