The items included diapers, rice, cooking oil, eggs, milk and soft drinks.

The founder of  the movement, Evangelist Samuel Vidzro-Kaboo, said the gesture was in line with the movement’s mission to take care of the less privileged in the society.

“This is going to be an everyday affair and in addition to that, the movement will champion the right of the disadvantaged, homeless and rejected”, he said.

The Administrator of the orphanage, Mrs Rosemond Mensah, thanked the members of the movement for their gesture and appealed to other organisations to also support it either in cash or in kind.

She said the items would solve some of the challenges the orphanage faced such as lack of nutritious food for the inmates.

She urged WOBPRAM and other organisations to help the orphanage with salaries of workers at the home.

WOBPRAM is a non-denominational prayer movement made up of a cross section of people from various religious denominations and was founded a year ago.

Evangelist Vidzro-Kaboo charged men of God to be upright and truthful to His word and be willing always to offer a helping hand to the needy.
